What is a HMO?
A HMO (House in multiple occupation) is essentially co-living in its modern format. Shared house, co-living space, house share are also used to refer to a HMO. Whichever term is used, it means a house with rooms for rent. Tenants have the sole use of their room and the rest of the house is shared with the rest of the tenants in the HMO.
